The Zapata County Nutrition Program offers a variety of services to the elderly (age 60 and older) of Zapata County.

The Elderly Transportation Program provides transportation to eligible participants to other areas to obtain medical services and other needs. The Home Delivery Program provides home delivery of food to eligible participants.

In addition, the Nutrition Centers in Zapata, San Ygnacio and Falcon provide daily noontime lunches from Monday through Friday to eligible participants.
