Blanco County COVID-19 Testing Information

Blanco County offers COVID-19 testing to anyone who lives or works in Blanco County, regardless if you have insurance or not. If you are in need of COVID-19 testing, please go to:

Once your registration has been processed, you will be contacted by EMS to set up your appointment.

COVID-19 test requests submitted before 2pm each day are normally scheduled the same day.

The primary testing offered in Blanco County is a highly accurate rapid antigen test, which yields results in less than 30 minutes, so that you can get answers quickly. Molecular (PCR) testing is also available, within a typical turnaround time of 1-2 days.

Blanco County COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Distribution of the COVID-19 Vaccine is managed by the State of Texas. Blanco County received it's initial shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine on January 5th, 2021 and immediately began vaccinations.

Everyone age 18 and older is now eligible to receive Moderna COVID-19 vaccines and boosters in Blanco County!

This 'mass-vaccination' site is the result of a collaborative effort between Blanco County, Blanco County ESD 1/North Blanco County EMS, Blanco County ESD 2, Blanco County Fire/EMS Auxiliary as well as countless medical professionals who are graciously volunteering their time to get Blanco County vaccinated!

Vaccinations are available through the EMS Stations in Blanco County, in both Blanco and Johnson City.
