Ector County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for application process for S.O.B. (Sexually Oriented Business)
S.O.B. are required to have a license for operation in the county as stated in Ector County Ordinances.
Within the city of Odessa, you must contact the Odessa Police Department for licensing process.
ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A STATE ISSUED ID/PASSPORT & PHYSICAL SOCIAL SECURITY CARD
The Licensing fee:
S.O.B. Business license ______________________$1500.00
S.O.B. Employee and Non-employee________$50.00

Office Hours for application:
Renewal & License pickup Tuesday to Friday
8:30 am to 11:30 am & 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
New Applicants Tuesday to Friday
8:30 am to 11:30 am & 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
All applications and fingerprints must be completed by 4:00 pm
Finger Prints will be required for all new applicants
Hours for Finger Prints:
Tuesday - Friday 9:00 am to 11:00 am & 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
The fee for fingerprints is $10.00 exact cash only.
Applicants must complete an application before receiving the location to be finger printed.
