The criminal justice system can be confusing and a little intimidating. The Hunt County District Attorney’s Office is available to provide information and services to victims of crime and their families to help them navigate through the process.
Victims of crime are guaranteed certain rights and participation in the criminal justice system under Texas law. A “Victim” means a person who is the victim of the offense of sexual assault, kidnapping, aggravated robbery, trafficking of persons, or injury to a child, elderly individual, or disabled individual or who has suffered personal injury or death as a result of the criminal conduct of another. However, if you are the victim of any felony crime in Hunt County, including those not listed above, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
