EFFECTIVE TOMORROW: 2/25/2025 the burn ban will be lifted. Please continue to use caution when burning as the grass and vegetation is still dry or dormant due to the winter weather. Burn rules still apply: * Burning can only occur when wind speeds are above 6 mph and below 23 mph *Burn during daylight hours * Remain out with the fire at all times with water source nearby.

**When a burn ban is in effect, ALL outdoor burning is prohibited. AG burning is allowed pursuant to Texas Local Government Code 352.081(f). The landowner must apply in person 48 hours prior to burn the burn. There is NO FEE for burn permits.

911 ADDRESSING:
The information below is needed when requesting a 9-1-1 address. The form is below.
* Complete the property & owner information below and sign. Form must be completed by the
property owner.
* If property is not located within a subdivision, you are required to provide a survey or sketch
of the property indicating proposed driveway/property entrance location.
* A copy of the property owners Filed Warranty Deed is to also be submitted.
* If the entrance is off an FM road, a St Hwy, or a US Hwy, you must provide an approved driveway
permit fromTxDOT indicating allowed driveway location.
* Forward the signed form and any additional documentation by email
(addressing@wilsoncountytx.gov) or mail.
* You will be notified by email when the address is assigned.
*Permit applications may be submitted once an address is assigned.
