According to the Local Government Code Section 11.003(a)(1) & (2) and Section 191.007(h) through (g) requirements for filing instruments with the Tyler County Clerk's office must be met in order to avoid noncompliance fees.  These requirements are as follows:

    1.    Document must be no wider than 8 1/2 inches wide and no longer than 14 inches. 
    2.    Paper must have sufficient weight that it will not smear or bleed through.
    3.    Type print must not be smaller than 8 point.
    4.    Heading must be clearly identified and at the top of the first page.
    5.    Printing, typing, and handwriting must be clearly legible.
    6.    Names must be printed under signatures.
    7.    All reproductions must have black printing, typing, or handwriting.
    8.    Riders or attachments must not be oversized.
    9.    Grantees mailing address must be included in document or an attachment.
