"It shall be the primary duty of all prosecuting attorneys not to convict, but to see that justice is done."
The District Attorney's Office is responsible for the prosecution of felony level crimes and misdemeanors over which district courts have jurisdiction. In Polk County, the District Attorney's Office represents the State of Texas in the 411th and 258th Judicial District Courts. We strive to handle each case equally, thoroughly, and mindful of our duty to the citizens of Polk County.
