  • If you would like to use the Courthouse Grounds for an event, please click HERE and fill out the CH Lawn Use Application and return to the County Judge's office. 
  • If you are inquiring about an indigent cremation, please fill out the Indigent Burial/Cremation Application and return to the County Judge's Office. If you have any questions, please give us a call at 512-398-1808.
  • Wedding Ceremonies

    Wedding ceremonies can be performed by Judge Haden for a fee of $50.00 (cash only) in the 2nd floor courtroom, or outside on the south side of the building, Monday through Friday, between 10:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M., by appointment only (subject to availability).

    If you would like to schedule a wedding ceremony with Judge Haden, please complete the acknowledgement form below in its entirety and submit to Ezzy Chan (Ezzy.Chan@co.caldwell.tx.us) AND Stephanie McKee (Stephanie.McKee@co.caldwell.tx.us).

    Marriage License Information

    For information or questions regarding marriage license applications, please contact the County Clerk's office.

    * Licenses are valid after 72 hours of receipt and prior to the 90-day expiration of the license.

    The 72-hour wait is waived if one party is active military, or you have taken the appropriate steps to have the 72-hour waiting period waived, which must be annotated on the license at the time of issuance.

    Couples must have a valid Texas marriage license at the time of their appointment and understand that no ceremony will be conducted without the presentation of a valid Texas marriage license on the day of their appointment.
