    or by sending a request in writing to Liberty County, 1923 Sam Houston Street, Liberty, Texas 77575. Written requests will activate any deadlines upon receipt by the appropriate party and entry into the tracking system.

     

    Please note that the public records in the County Clerk's Office and District Clerk's Office are not subject to public information requests. These documents are already publicly available. You may search through these records by visiting the Liberty County Clerk's Office or District Clerk's Office during regular business hours, or by accessing the County Clerk's online database information through the following:

    Charges for copies of these records are required by state statute. Current fees are $1.00 per page. There may be a credit card service fee added for requests. Certified copies are an additional $5.00 per document along with the $1.00 per page fee. Certified copies must be picked up in the County Clerk's Office or District Clerk's Office. Documents may be viewed for free in the Liberty County Clerk's Office or District Clerk's Office.
