The vault is closed 12-1 Phones are not answered during Lunch Hour.

Call before planning to be here 12-1 Computers shut down at 4:30 p.m. weekdays and at 4 on Fridays.

We do not file multiple documents after 3:00 P.M. in Public Records

Driver License or valid Photo ID will be required on land documents at time of filing into the OPR Records

We will be closing December 31, 2025 at Noon and will not process documents after 11 a.m. and reopen January 2nd, 2026.  Have a 
Safe and Happy New Years.

 
   

If you are coming for the return of a Cash Bond, Please call and schedule appointment between the hours of 8-11 or 1-3 Tuesday or Wednesday. BRING YOUR RECEIPT PROVING YOU PAID THE BOND!


 No Out of State Checks--the exception is Businesses.

(single sided documents for scanning purposes)

Any other documents, please call before you write out your payment.

PLEASE PROVIDE SELF ADDRESSED POSTAGE PAID ENVELOPE FOR RETURN OF YOUR DOCUMENT/DOCUMENTS.

         Marriage License $66.00 with valid DL or ID Both have to be present

  • Request Form for Birth or Death Certificate
    For any questions pertaining to a birth or death certificate call 903-657-0301
  • File DD 214's Veterans.
    THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ISSUED
  • Must present current photo ID when requesting Birth or Death Record in person.  If requesting by mail, a copy of current photo ID and notarized signature must be included.
