TRAFFIC APPEALS
Our office policy remains if you have a commercial drivers license,
and you were in your commercial vehicle:
NO deferred adjudication at the county court level
NO pretrial diversion at the county court level

PRETRIAL DIVERSION
Defendants who are interested in the pretrial diversion must have no convictions on their criminal history, provide a resume, and MUST provide a clean UA at the time of Court. If a defendant refuses to test, they will not be eligible for the program.  The defendant must also have $100.00 (money order) at the time of the plea.

HOT CHECKS
If you believe you have a hot check pending in Karnes County Court, we want to resolve it with you. To avoid a warrant or to dispose of this matter, please contact our hot check coordinator :

Let us be a resources for you....

We assist with protective orders, victim resources, counseling, shelters, and court hearings.

Victim Services Coordinator activities include : assisting victims with justice support and advocacy, information and referrals (in person or by phone), assisting with Crime Victims' Compensation, Address Confidentiality Program, Protective Order applications, court appointments, and personal advocacy.

 
The Victim Services is dedicated to positively impact the quality of life and support the citizens of Karnes County by assisting victims, survivors, families that are / have experienced family & domestic violence. This position is dedicated to offer support and locate the appropriate resources to Karnes County citizens in assistance for additional services that are needed such as counseling, shelter, and drug abuse.
