THE PALO PINTO COUNTY ANNEX IS CURRENTLY HAVING REPAIRS TO THE EXTERIOR SLOPE ON THE WEST SIDE (CUSTOMER ENTRANCE)

THIS ENTRANCE WILL BE CLOSED.

ALL EMPLOYES AND CUSTOMERS WILL NEED TO ENTER ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE BUILDING.

CONSTRUCTION WILL BEGIN ON JUNE 24, 2024, AND TENTATIVELY SET TO BE COMPLETED BY JULY 8, 2024

Palo Pinto County is accepting sealed requests for proposal on group Medical insurance until 10:00 am CST Tuesday, July 2, 2024 via email, at which time they will be publicly opened.  The title of the email should include “Palo Pinto County Bid: RFP #10-01-2024 for Group Medical Insurance”.  All proposals received will be presented to The County, at which time The County reserves the right to accept, negotiate, amend, accept and/or reject any or all bids which, in its discretion, is in the best interest of the County.  For information about the bidding process, please contact Brinson Benefits, Inc. at 214-379-5125.

Road Closures

 

 

US 281 Lane Closure in Palo Pinto

 

April 24, 2024

MINERAL WELLS – US 281 will be reduced to one lane from the Jack County line to FM 3027 and from FM 2256 to Dobbs Valley Road weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for roadwork. This project is estimated to be completed this summer. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.

 

TxDOT encourages attention to all warning signs within the work zone as crews complete this project as quickly and safely as possible.
