NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING ESTABLISHMENT OF A SPEED LIMIT ON COUNTY ROADS IN PRECINCT 2 

Pursuant to Texas Transportation Code section 251.152, notice is hereby given that the Commissioners Court of Medina County will conduct a Public Hearing for the purpose of receiving public comment and voting regarding the following ESTABLISHMENT OF SPEED LIMIT of 30 miles per hour on County Roads  5721, 5720, 573, 5731, 5732, 5733, 5734, 5735, 5736, 5737, 5738, 5739, 574, 5740, 5741, 5742, 575, 576; located within the Medina River West Subdivision in Precinct 2.

The Public Hearing will be conducted during the regular meeting of the Medina County Commissioners Court on Monday March 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Medina County Courthouse Annex, 1300 Avenue M, Room 165, Hondo, TX. The hearing concerns adopting traffic regulations under Texas Transportation Code Section 251.154; Maximum Reasonable and Prudent Speeds on County Roads. 

Notice of Application to revise Three Tract Subdivision to vacate and re-plat Lots 1 & 2, Medina County, Texas.

As required by Texas Statutes, Local Government Code Sec. 232.009, notice is given that the Commissioners Court of Medina County will meet on March 23, 2026 at 9:00 am to consider an application filed by Chris Schuchart owner of Lots 1 & 2 Three Tract Subdivision.  The plat being sought to be revised is in Vol. 8 Page 67 of the Plat Records of Medina County, Texas. 

At the meeting, the court will hear any protest to the proposed revision of the plat. The proposed revision re-plats Lots 1 & 2 and re-subdividing into Lots 1A & 2A. 

The meeting will be held on the following date and time at the following location: 

Monday, March 23, 2026, at 9:00 am, Medina County Courthouse Annex, 1300 Avenue M, Room 165, Hondo, Texas, 78861.

Anyone interested in the proposed revision is encouraged to attend the meeting and address the Commissioners Court.
