Notice of Proposed Amendments to the Duval County Tax Abatement Policies and Guidelines - 6/8/2026
Duval County Commissioners Court will conduct a Public Hearing to receive public comment on proposed tax Abatement for Cazadores Solar, LLC on July 13th , 9:30 a.m. Duval County Courthouse, Commissioner’s Courtroom, 400 E. Gravis Avenue, San Diego, Texas 78384.
Duval County Commissioners Court will conduct a Public Hearing to receive public comment on proposed tax abatements for Cielo Vista Power , LLC , Cielo Vista Solar , LLC , Cielo Vista Storage, LLC on July 13th , 10 :00 a.m. Duval County Courthouse, Commissioner’s Courtroom, 400 E. Gravis Avenue, San Diego, Texas, 78384.
All Proposed Tax Abatements will be posted on the Duval County website at least seven days prior to the July 13th meeting . All tax abatement applications for applicants Cazadores , LLC and Cielo Vista Solar LLC, Cielo Vista Storage LLC, and Cielo Vista Power LLC can be found on the Duval County website and a copy can be found in the Duval County Judge’s office.

- Discuss and take action on a proposed abatement agreement with Cielo Vista Power, LLC (the “Applicant”) for a natural gas power generation facility estimated to cost $539,752,619. The Cielo Vista Power project is located in the Cielo Vista Reinvestment Zone, located in north Duval County, more specifically in the northeast of Duval County along Hwy 59 and south CR115 in Precinct 2 of Duval County on property identified by Parcel IDs 7755, 5845, 168571, 251, and 136 owned by Back Road Ranch, LLC.
- Discuss and take action on a proposed abatement agreement with Cielo Vista Solar, LLC (the “Applicant”) for a 600 MW solar power facility estimated to cost $477,327,312. The Cielo Vista Solar project is located in the Cielo Vista Reinvestment Zone, located in north Duval County, more specifically in the northeast of Duval County along Hwy 59 and south CR115 in Precinct 2 of Duval County on property identified by Parcel IDs 78, 192, 195, 3231, 5121, 5484, 6106, 6134, 6349, 6543, 6890, 6950, 7765, 7973, 7976, 7987, 8265, 8266, 8268, 8605, 18923, 7983, 7984, 136, 251, 2701, 2707, 2708, 2925, 4432, 5075, 5638, 5845, 6917, 7755, 7888, 7890, 8162, 16748, 16853, 16855, 16857, 16902, 16904, 16906, 16907, and 225126 owned by Shatte Ranch, L.P.
